1. Getting into your Bávaro photos
With the code from the bracelet, the QR card or the link, type it on the home page and the gallery opens.
With no code, pick the date and take a selfie on the find your photos page. On a beach this long it is normal to be photographed without ever speaking to anyone on the team, and that path exists for exactly that.
If you would rather ask, message us on WhatsApp with the date, the hotel or stretch of beach you were on, and roughly what time.
| What you have | Where to go | What it needs |
|---|---|---|
| Bracelet, QR card or code | The home page, or scan the QR | The code, and nothing else |
| Nothing but the date | The find your photos page | The date and a selfie |
| No code, no exact date | Rough date, hotel or stretch, and time |
2. The hour, which decides nearly everything here
On Bávaro the photographs happen early and in the last hour before sunset, when the light goes warm and the beach thins out. Midday is bright and contrasty: hard shadows on the face, water that reads white instead of turquoise, and pale sand throwing back so much light that everyone squints in every frame.
What Bávaro has over almost anywhere else in the area is that golden hour is right there. Most resorts open straight onto the sand, so there is nothing to catch and nowhere to drive to reach the good light. It is the most convenient golden hour on this coast.
3. Where, on a beach that does not end
Bávaro is lined with resorts but it is a public beach, and lifeguards cover much of it, which makes it the easy, safe choice for a family beach day. What gets said less often is that access points can be limited and busy in high summer — so whichever stretch you reach shapes a good deal of what ends up in the background of your photographs.
If you were after something more open with less building behind it, Macao is the natural comparison, and we have made it in the Macao versus Bávaro guide.
The beach itself, with real photographs from different stretches, is on the destination page.
4. If you want a session, not a passing photograph
Photographing someone who walks past on the beach and setting up a session are two different things. If you want the second — a proposal, a family shoot, something planned in advance — tell us on the custom excursions page and the team will build it.
If you want to understand how the first one works, how it works explains it in two minutes.
