Macao vs Bavaro Beach: Which to Visit in Punta Cana

Macao sits about 15 km northwest of Bavaro, between Uvero Alto and Bavaro, and is a favorite for surfing. The biggest waves run November to March, and the sandy bottom makes it suitable for beginners and experienced surfers alike.
