Goey Pictures is an excursion photography service based in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We photograph guests during excursions and sell those photos to the people pictured as digital downloads. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this simple, honest, and free of surprises.

Who we are

Goey Pictures operates an online storefront where excursion guests can find and purchase the photos taken of them. You reach your photos using an access code printed on a QR bracelet handed to you during your excursion.

Information we collect

Photos of you. Our photographers take photos of guests during excursions. These photos are linked to your access code so you can find and buy them.

Access codes. Each bracelet has a unique access code that connects you to your photo gallery. We use it only to show you the right photos.

Contact details you choose to share. If you give us an email address or phone number for photo delivery, re-download links, or support, we keep it so we can help you. Providing contact details is optional, but it makes delivery and support easier.

Payment information. Payments are processed by PayPal (including card payments handled through PayPal). We do not see or store your full card number. We may receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited order details, so we can release your photos.

Basic analytics. We collect basic, mostly aggregated usage data (such as pages viewed and general device or browser type) to understand how the site is used and to keep it working well.

How we use your information

To show you the photos linked to your access code and to let you preview and purchase them.

To deliver your purchased photos as digital downloads and to support re-downloads if you lose access.

To process payments through PayPal and confirm your order.

To respond to your questions and provide customer support by email or WhatsApp.

To operate, secure, and improve our website using basic analytics.

How your photos are used

Your photos are taken so they can be offered for sale to the guests pictured in them. We do not sell, rent, or license your personal photos to third parties for their own marketing or other uses.

Occasionally we may use general excursion or scenery images for our own promotion, but we do not use identifiable photos of you to promote our service without your consent.

How long we keep photos and data

Excursion photos are kept for a limited time so you have a reasonable window to find and purchase them, typically a few months after the excursion, after which unsold galleries may be deleted. Time frames can vary, so if you want your photos, please purchase or download them promptly.

Order and payment confirmation records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, tax, or legal reasons.

If you ask us to delete your photos or personal data, we will do so where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting purposes.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember basic preferences, and measure general usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as well if you disable them.

Third parties we work with

PayPal processes payments (including card payments). Your payment is handled under PayPal's own terms and privacy policy.

Hosting and infrastructure providers store the website and photo files securely on our behalf.

Messaging and email providers (such as WhatsApp and our email provider) help us deliver photos and provide support when you contact us.

These providers only receive the information needed to perform their service, and we do not authorize them to use your personal data for their own marketing.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to show you what photos or personal data we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete your photos or personal data.

You can ask us to correct contact details that are wrong, or to stop contacting you.

To make any of these requests, email help@goeypictures.com or message us on WhatsApp. To protect your privacy, we may ask for your access code or other details to confirm the photos are yours before acting on a request.

Children

Excursion photos sometimes include children who are part of a family group. These photos are sold to the responsible adult who purchases them. We do not knowingly collect personal contact information directly from children. If you believe a child's photo or data needs to be removed, contact us and we will help.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your photos and information, including limiting access and relying on trusted providers. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally for any updates.

Governing law and contact

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
