About this trip
A horseback ride on the Bávaro coast: from the ranch along the beach and into the calm, shallow water.
Bávaro Beach is the long, public beach at the heart of the Punta Cana hotel zone, and a reef offshore keeps the water mostly calm and shallow, and the horses walk right into it. The ride starts at the ranch and follows the sand and the water's edge.
It is hard to photograph yourself from the saddle, so our photographer does it: riders in the shallows, couples side by side, a wave from the horse. The photos are in your gallery the next day.
