Juanillo Beach

Juanillo is the showpiece beach of the gated Cap Cana community: a wide, manicured arc of white sand and tall palms running beside one of the Caribbean's largest marinas, with calm, gin-clear turquoise water and tidy palapas. It feels a notch more polished and far less crowded than the public resort beaches, which makes it a favourite for relaxed, premium photos. Most visitors arrive via a Cap Cana or Scape Park excursion, often combined with Hoyo Azul. Our photographers work its clean lines and soft palette — wide sand, leaning palms, turquoise shallows — best in the calm, uncrowded morning light, beautiful year-round and at its most serene in the December-to-April dry season.
